This policy is designed to support transparent privacy practices, including requirements relevant to Google Play Console Data Safety disclosures.

We collect information you provide directly and technical information needed to operate and secure the service. Depending on your use, this may include:

• City (if provided)
• Business information entered by users
• Invoice data
• Quotation data
• Customer information
• Header and footer details
• Bank account details entered by the user

• Technical information required for app operation and security

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve Civil Invoice services, including account access, invoice and quotation management, customer support, subscription management, fraud prevention, and service reliability.

4. Authentication

Users authenticate using Mobile Number + OTP. Authentication is handled securely through our backend services. We do not require users to create a traditional password for normal sign-in.

5. Subscription and Payment Information

Premium subscriptions are purchased through supported payment providers, including Google Play Billing on Android and other supported providers where applicable. Civil Invoice does not store payment card details. Payment processing is handled by the respective payment provider under their own security and compliance controls.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with trusted infrastructure and service providers that are required to operate the service, such as cloud backend providers and payment providers.

7. Data Security

All communication with Civil Invoice services uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or alteration.

8. Data Retention

User data is retained while the account remains active. Certain information may be retained where required by law, dispute handling, compliance obligations, or fraud prevention.

9. Account Deletion

Users can permanently delete their account from inside the app. A dedicated Delete Account page is also available at https://civilinvoice.baldevtech.com/delete-account.html to help users initiate or understand deletion steps.

When an account is deleted, user-created business data is permanently removed, including invoices, quotations, customer information, and other related data created by the user.

To prevent abuse of free subscriptions and to support fraud prevention, the registered mobile number and limited subscription-related information may be retained after account deletion. This retained information is used only for compliance and security purposes, and is not used for marketing.

10. Children's Privacy

Civil Invoice is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that such information has been provided, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect service improvements, legal requirements, or security updates. Any updated version will be posted on our website with a revised Last Updated date.
